April 1, 2013:  Durand laid her fourth egg late yesterday or early today.  Eggs were infertile in both 2011 and 2012.  Durand's mate, Spark, appears to be incubating the eggs in the morning.

1st egg:  March 19
2nd egg:  March 22
3rd egg:  March 24
4th egg:  March 27

Durand and Spark have four eggs, which they frequently roll.  Durand seems to be listening to them.  The original clip was 15 minutes long, but the video is the last four minutes of that clip.  She was standing over the eggs for at least 15 minutes.  The weather has been very warm in Columbus, so it is not unusual for Durand and Spark to leave the eggs uncovered for a few minutes.  The incubation time is about 33 days.  Full incubation started after the third egg was laid.

Two chicks hatched yesterday!  This may be Spark, trying to incubate two chicks and two eggs.  I can’t identify Spark and Durand unless I see them together in the nest box.

Spark arrives with some prey.  However, he doesn't drop it off --  he leaves, taking the prey with him!   puzzled2

And yes, it is Durand, not Spark, who lifts the babies by their neck.  She's desperate to get them under her warm feathers.

Spark brings dinner to Durand and their tiny chicks, who immediately get up and beg for food!  There are three chicks…  the fourth egg has not hatched.

I guess we never had a page for the Cleveland nest on the Terminal Tower ... 12 reigning female went missing two months ago and was finally found deceased.  Sad

Durand won't incubate 24/7 until all of her eggs are laid.

Spark is incubating the two eggs.  Then he leaves the nest box, flies away and returns to mate with Durand.

second egg: March 23, 2015

This is a good read about a rescue in Cleveland... (not on Cam - but in Ohio)
