There might have been fledge today --- only one there now but both were there this morning.
That being said, one of the could have fledged prior to today as I haven't watched the nest
100%.  However, seems like every time I have looked, there were two on nest.

I am with Menunkatuck Audubon, we  currently have 3 eggs on the osprey nest

Our organization also has a Roseate Tern cam that is currently focused on a nesting American Oyster Catcher http://menunkatuck.org/conservation/falkner-island-cameras/tern-cam/
and we have a bluebird cam, bluebird sitting on 5 eggs...  http://menunkatuck.org/video-cameras-2/feeder-cam/

Welcome, Lorrie!  Do you know when the second and third eggs were laid on the osprey nest?

And I am curious about the American Oyster Catcher - will try to take a peek tomorrow!

If you have any questions about the forum, please let us know!

Thanks, Lorrie!  And the first one was on the 19th - wow!  Looks like quite a delay between the 1st and 2nd - or did they lose one?

Unlike some other forums, you can't insert images directly here - you need to have the image somewhere on the internet (I use PhotoBucket), and then you can link to it using IMG tags (the "insert image" button - second button in the second row, under the slanting I for italics).

Or you can insert a link to a picture on your website - it just has to be online.

Mornin' everyone  coffee
........and welcome Lorrie!  (I think you may know this, but I am the same Sherri that communicates with you regarding 1st egg etc).

Wow!   how in the world have you figured out the dates for the eggs --- or even that there are three?!  lol   I haven't been able to get a picture of
them to know.   I usually post egg laying dates for the Connecticut and Greenport nests but have been very busy with 'stuff' this season and it
has cut into my viewing time.  No egg at Milford nest yet  sosad
That being said --- glad to see you here!  flower

........... and I didn't know about the Oystercatcher on cam --- will definitely check that out along with the bluebirds.  Thanks for the heads up!  flower

ETA 8:25 AM
I just checked the Oystercatcher cam ----- awesome!
Here is a picture in case others aren't familiar with what they are --- I wasn't until a couple years ago.  Look forward to looking in on them.  bigsmile
I will add it to our "What are You Watching" thread as well.

Here is information on the American Oystercatcher

Hi Sheri..I didn't realize you were the same person...I owe you a prize, I didn't forget!

I was checking for the eggs every day, that's how I caught the date...I post photos of them on fb...
I'm still working on getting them here.

Today we moved the bluebird cam to a hummingbird feeder since our eggs are way overdue and we don't see them
being successful this time

Lorrie, no worries at all on the prize!  bigsmile

Oh wow! I finally got to check the bluebird cam this morning --- now I'll go back to check hummingbirds! Sorry to hear the news
on bluebirds.
I'll check FB for pictures etc.

..........and new NEWS this afternoon.  We finally have our first egg at Milford nest!  love

There are two adorable and seemingly heathy chicks here.  I don't know when they hatched
Day 35 for the first egg was on 5/24 so they are quite recent.  Seem to be doing well.  love
