11:43am
Weird lighting/cam today.  From what I can see, no chicks, no parents, but there's a new stick (small tree?) on the nest.
Dad's been at work, or maybe Mom!

7:07am - Both chicks on the nest.  Dad just dropped off a fish.
7:10am - Wow - that was fast!  Each chick has a fish!  Yellow(?) on our right has a live fish!

Don't know if they slept on the nest last night.  They were both on nest when cam went off at 8pm, and again when it came on at 7am.

5:05 PM was going to post cap of empty nest and say hope all are doing well.

......but then at 5:06 CYellow came in  bigsmile

.....then, when I checked again at 5:12, CRed was there!

5:16  guess they are going to relax and wait it out till a fish arrives  bigsmile

They both look good so hope they continue to do well.

Cam has been on and off (mostly off) since July 29.
Last sighting of Yellow on nest:  July 29:

Last sighting of Red on nest:

Every day that I've checked, there have been changes to the nest.  I wonder if the Osprey family is still in town???

Checking in daily - no cam - no response from FWS since Mid March, "cam should be up in about 2 weeks."

The last email I sent to FWS was April 27 - no response.
(I spoke to Craig Koppie, FWS biologist at the Welcome Back Osprey Party held by the Chesapeake Conserv. (4-19-16), he said that there were GEESE nesting on the platform early in the season that were removed twice (no details); and that the osprey were back and were on the nest (again - no details).)
