Precious picture, Tizme!

I checked in earlier today (approx. 8:30am?), and saw a bonk-fest - but most of the bonks didn't connect, so it was really a bobble-fest!  And it was very 'equal' - didn't keep score, but looked like each one attempted the same number of bonks!  Annie observed and scratched herself a bit, ignoring them, of course!

12:00noon (approx.)

Second time this morning that I've seen a tandem feeding!  Intruder must be nearby, Annie would stop feeding and look up, squawk, then switch positions on the nest.
Both chicks have great crops!
(Now if only that hunk of twine would disappear!)

Thanks so much, Bonnie.
If you're still watching, do you see where one of the chicks is?  shock  I don't know when or how it got there.

I have to go out for a while ---- sure do hope it gets back to center of nest!  pray

OMG, Sherri!
I'm glad I missed that!  I was stuck on PB for 20+ minutes (guessed at the time of the pic I posted!).
Thank Goodness the little stinker is back where he belongs!

Saw 2 more 'tandem feedings' today, during quick check-ins!  Kidd also gave Annie several bites!
(Sorry, didn't note time.)

Approx 1:45pm: Chicks appeared to be alone on the nest when one chick was bonking sibling for several minutes, it looked quite severe (practically picking it up), then suddenly, the cam stream changed to what appeared to be 'live' because stream changed and there was Annie.  Annie was looking around, looking down at the chicks... Huh??
2:00pm  Annie is on the nest with the chicks, the bonker is looking at Annie; the bonkee is not moving much.  Neither chick appears to have a crop.

(Pics I have are useless.)

2:06pm  Now both chicks are up and looking around, alone on the nest.  I can't even tell who was bonked so much earlier!

4:03pm
Annie is feeding the chicks (clicked on mid-feed).  Kidd is on back left post.  Both adults are observing area (probably other birds flying around  nod2  ).
No bonking observed.

Added:
4:05pm  While I was typing above, Kidd flew off and both chicks are flat in the nest... someone/somebirdie is nearby.  Annie is observing.

5:55pm
Just checking in... DARN... looks like Annie is trying to get a chick untangled from the twine that's been in the nest...

Added... approx. 5:58pm she may have succeeded - my pics (and stream) are too blurry to tell.
I wish the chick would get up and move!

7:55pm
Another quick check-in:
Just saw the tail end of a feed; both chicks appear to have full crops.  Annie signals Kidd to remove the remainder of fish; Kidd takes the fish off the nest.
Both chicks appear to be FREE of the twine.... but the stuff is still on the nest.

7:58pm
Annie is tucking the kids under her.

Good Night!

I just realized it had been a while since I heard anything from here so thought I'd check - and it looks as if someone hit the cam!  shock

5 pm
I'm seeing one of the chicks looking over the edge, and I saw the other do a stretch to the right of him, then move back into the blurry area, so I'm thinking both are doing OK.  The cam is reloading a lot, and I need to focus on a few other things, but thought I'd do a quick post for the record.

Thank you Bonnie and Judy  flower
I realize and feel very bad that I have not kept up with this nest.  I have been taking pictures pretty much on a daily basis but haven't
gotten to post.......(many reasons but, suffice it to say, I have had a lot going on personally).
I plan on trying to put together some slideshow to show their activity and the chicks growth.
They are doing very well so far ---------- Annie has been an incredible Mom!  love

All that being said, these pictures and slideshow are from this morning.  Such a joy to watch. love

Slideshow starts at 5:18 AM this morning........changes to color at 5:24.
Annie comes in with live fish at 5:28.  bigsmile

Many of the pictures are of Annie feeding the chicks........they seem to get along quite well, taking turns.'
Sunrise so pretty around 5:39.

Kidd came in at 6:18 with a partially eaten fish.........Annie and the chicks paid no attention to him as they were full!
Annie left for about 45 min and Kidd finally enticed the Kidds to eat a bit as he fed.

Kidd left first then Annie.........the last few pictures were added simply because I thought they were cute and cuddly.
Slideshow ends 7:47 AM

I was at the nest this past Thursday and got some halfway decent pictures.
Annie bringing her own fish in nothing new as I caught her on camera doing this when I was there!  bigsmile
Will post them as soon as I am able.
