Good Morning,

Sherri, many thanks for all the updates as I have been quite busy & had a hard time following the cam this year.  Even when down there volunteering it has not been easy for me to be able to watch and really miss that.

Its great to see that one has fledged and now we’ll wait on #2. Not sure which is which but 1 of the 2 is there now with an adult who’s tail feathers are just in sight off to our right side of the cam.

Also, your on-site pictures are truly amazing!!!

THANKS AGAIN!!

It's official!  both chicks have fledged!........ I had an email from Louise a few minutes ago saying they are both flying.  love
Believe the 2nd one was this morning.......the first one yesterday, or possibly Saturday.

Thanks Thomas, I haven't been able to document as I normally would this year so I totally understand.  I have been watching/checking
pretty much on a daily basis and will put something together for our records.
I have pictures from my last two visits that I still need to share as well.  bigsmile

Excitement at nest .,..... well, maybe not so 'exciting' as 3 chicks on nest (when only 2 were raised here) are on nest getting along
just fine!  lollol

You will see in the slideshow that they wound up with a fish but no one knows how it got there!  lollol I had to go out to fill feeders and
friends didn't see either.
Anyway one of them finally left ..... the one that had big fish.  (don't know if 'ours')  Fish still there so guess they can't be all that hungry.
Another chick had fish as well.

Two flew off

Who is this?

6:22 Annie if with live fish --- chick that was on post (I think) watches.  She is not offering to feed.....thinking she is trying to get
ready to migrate.

6:54  Chick at lower left has fish and Annie on other post to right.  I don't know if chick took fish or if Annie had enough.
Another chick comes in.......

....... and goes to front right post

Mornin' everyone  coffee

Kidd had been missing (or so it seems) since the 18th.  That is the last time he had been seen on the cam and he wasn't on site when
I went down there on Thursday.  Have no idea what happened or where he was but I suspect it may have something to do with the third
chick that has been there.  The third chick has been there consistently and Annie has been feeding all.  love

Well, Kidd appeared yesterday and I am so happy I went down there!  I didn't see him on cam in the morning but he sure was there when
I got there!  I will have pictures from that visit and the previous 2-3 times I was there......will require a great deal of time for me to get
them edited but will do as I want them as part of this thread history. Point being, it might take a while to get them posted.  bigsmile

Kidd spent the night on the nest --- he was on 'his' left front post as it got dark and was still there this morning.  He came off post and
into nest and I got some really nice caps of him for the record.  He left at 6:07 AM.
Here is one picture, then click for slideshow of rest.

As mentioned, Kidd left the last time at 6:07 after being on and off briefly.  He appeared to have been alarming.

6:13 a chick comes in -- not sure if 'nest chick' or 'guest'.  It started off with food calling but then started alarming and defending
as something for sure was going on overhead.
It left and came back ....... still alarming while watching something going on overhead.

The very odd part is that Annie would have normally brought in fish by now (7:12) but she hasn't come in at all.
