That's wonderful, Patti ---- thanks.

I'm guessing being there was no cam, we don't have dates for the egg laying?
I just checked back through Judy's charts......

2016     Cam failed but at least 2 chicks were reported as of March 16
2015     Feb 7 and 2nd seen on Feb 11
2014     They did not occupy the nest with the cam
2013     Dec 9 and Dec 12 (this is the year the GHO took over nest)
2012     Dec 17, Dec 20 and Dec 23
2011     Dec 28, Dec 31

I didn't go back any earlier.

Thanks Patti ......

Poor Mom......weather isn't any better now at the time of this picture  sosad Hope the weather breaks but I haven't looked
at the forecast.
She is doing her best to keep the chick dry.
The good news is that there seems to be an abundance of food in your earlier cap!

Much nicer day today ... the baby is growing fast!  Don't think the other egg is going to hatch but Mom is still tending to it.

This could have been a disaster.  Chick looks to be OK but I'm sure that big stick must have blown into the nest overnight.

The cam has been down for almost a week now.  This video is from last Thursday, the 20th.
